Parikkala Sculpture Park – A Mysterious Oasis of ITE Art
Experience a magnificent and unique art ensemble that will both startle and delight you!
Parikkala Sculpture Park is the result of over 50 years of artistic work by the late ITE artist Veijo Rönkkönen (1944–2010). In this mysterious oasis, hidden in a lush garden, you will find as many as 560 multi-expressive and multi-themed concrete statues. The statues reflect humanity in all its diversity: various expressions, poses, and life situations that offer visitors an unforgettable and evocative experience.
This globally acclaimed art ensemble is located in Koitsanlahti, Parikkala. Come and experience this unique place for yourself!
Practical information for your visit:
Opening hours: The park is always open, and you can visit it at any time of day or night. (Please note that the park has no lighting, and movement is at your own risk).
Location: Kuutostie 611, 59130 Koitsanlahti (Parikkala). You can conveniently park your car right next to the park at the resting area.
Admission fee: The park's upkeep is funded by admission fees. Tickets: adults 7 €, children 3 €, and family ticket 15 €. Payment can be made in cash into the collection box, via MobilePay, or during summer at the park's shop. (Note: The Museum Card is not accepted as a form of payment).
