Geocaching is a very pleasant and addictive way to move around in nature, even with the whole family! Even the smallest members of the family are guaranteed to get excited about this modern treasure hunt, which often takes the explorer to such natural gems and historical sites that might otherwise not be found.

How to get started?

• Geocaches are scattered all around Rajamaat – in city centers and urban areas, along wonderful nature sites, and right into the heart of Saimaa and the border region. To search, you only need a smartphone and a free geocaching app. The caches offer challenges of varying levels, so there's plenty to find for both beginners and more experienced seekers.
